KINGSTON, Jamaica — Portia Simpson Miller has been sworn in for the second time as Jamaica’s prime minister after leading her opposition party to a landslide victory in national elections.
The 66-year-old Simpson Miller took the oath of office Thursday in a ceremony before thousands of guests on the lawn of the governor-general’s residence.
