Crime investigators in Jefferson County are seeking the public’s help in finding a woman who tried to rob a local pharmacy.

At about 12:54 a.m. Monday a woman walked into Walgreens, 5870 S. Kipling Parkway, and handed a note to a pharmacist demanding: “Give me the Oxycodone,” according to a Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office media release.

The woman kept her hand in her pocket as if she had a gun, however no weapon was seen, the sheriff’s office said.

The pharmacist refused and the woman ran away.

The sheriff’s office released surveillance photos of the woman today. She is described as white, in her early- to mid-20’s, 5-feet 6-inches tall and 170 pounds, with long dark hair. She was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and a white and red Carhart baseball cap.

Anyone who recognizes the woman is asked to call the sheriff’s tip line at 303 271-5612.
