GREELEY, Colo.—A Greeley woman and a firefighter are recovering from burns after a propane heater exploded on a covered patio at the woman’s home.

The Greeley Tribune reports ( ) the fire around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday caused roughly $25,000 in damage.

Fire Marshal Dale Lyman says the resident suffered first- and second-degree burns. A firefighter suffered first-degree burns from the propane tank’s flame while crews were dousing the fire. The firefighter was treated at a hospital and released.
