Aurora is seeking sponsorships for its Aurora Sports Park on East Colfax Avenue.
“Our goal is to provide business partners and corporate sponsors access to the athletes and active families who utilize Aurora Sports Park to support their healthy lifestyle,” said Tom Barrett, director of Aurora Parks, Recreation & Open Space.
The sports park, at 19300 E. Colfax Ave., just east of Tower Road, hosts major local, state and national competitions and offers 12 baseball/softball fields and 23 soccer/multi-use fields.
Other sports that compete at the complex include cross country, rugby and lacrosse. National tournaments like the Fireworks Fastpitch Softball Tournament and the Real Colorado Cup Soccer Tournament bring millions of dollars to the local economy, officials say.
Sponsorships are being offered at a variety of levels, including signage, logos on fields and naming rights to the complex.
