
The Broomfield Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the woman who robbed a Circle K convenience store on Wednesday.
Around 12:14 a.m. Wednesday, a entered the Circle K / Shell Gas Station at 425 U.S. 287 and handed the clerk a candy bar, demanded cash from the register and threatened to shoot the clerk if the police were called, according to a news release issued Thursday morning. A weapon was not seen by the clerk or in surveillance photos. The woman fled on foot.
The robber is described as white, approximately 5-foot-2 to 5-foot-6, weighing 100 to 120 pounds. She was wearing purple hoodie tied tight around her face and black gloves.
