Julie Carleen Johnson-Garcia, 55, of Parker will be prosecuted on charges that she allowed two people to take a law-enforcement exam at home and other cadets to view the test in advance.

She is also charged with lying to investigators and attempting to get two others to lie, according to an indictment returned by a Denver grand jury.

Garcia was a proctor for Colorado Peace Officer Standards and Training exams last year. State law requires would-be officers to pass the examination to become certified and serve. Garcia faces felony charges of attempting to influence a public servant and tampering with a witness.
