LOVELAND, Colo.—A Loveland fifth-grader is facing possible felony charges after he was accused of bringing an unloaded flare pistol to school.
Authorities say the unidentified 10-year-old boy was allegedly playing with an orange flare pistol with two friends on the playground at Van Buren Elementary School when other students spotted the weapon and reported it.
According to the Loveland Reporter-Herald (), a teacher investigated and confiscated the weapon.
