SHERIDAN, Colo.—Denver police have arrested one of the suspects accused of shoplifting at a SuperTarget store in Sheridan and fleeing when security officers were hit with what appeared to have been pepper spray.

Police say store employees were trying to stop a man and woman who were believed to be shoplifting Tuesday when another man used pepper spray on the security officers. All three suspects fled.

Sheridan police say 28-year-old Brittany Burton-Zamora was being held Friday on charges of robbery, theft, third-degree assault, possession of burglary tools, criminal mischief and conspiracy. The other suspects were still at large as of Friday afternoon.
