Union Station Alliance is hosting a series of town-hall meetings and public focus groups to gather input for the redevelopment of downtown Denver’s historic train station.
The Regional Transportation District last month chose Union Station Alliance as the preferred developer for the historic building.
Union Station Alliance plans to redevelop the building with a boutique hotel, shops and restaurants.
The town-hall meetings will gather input from the community on the management of Union Station’s plaza and other public spaces. Those meetings are scheduled from 4 to 5:30 p.m. today, Jan. 25, Feb. 1 and Feb. 8.
About 100 stakeholders are invited to participate in the public focus groups to discuss the retail components of the project. Those meetings are scheduled at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday, Jan. 26 and Jan. 27.
The focus groups and the town-hall meetings will be held in the Great Hall at Denver Union Station, 1701 Wynkoop St.
