Police stopped a vehicle with 10 “or so” people riding in it on the 400 block of Kimbark Street on Saturday morning and arrested the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, according to police reports.
The driver, who had a restricted license because of an earlier DUI conviction, told officers he was the designated driver and that he and his friends had just left a bar on the 300 block of Main Street.
His breath tested a .138 alcohol content, police reported. Officers discovered one person in the car who was sober and had a valid license.
