Acoustic duo have some big news. They’re releasing a new record, “Area 52,” on Jan. 24. And for the first time ever, they’re touring behind the new release with a full band.
Yes, the tour includes a Colorado stop – at Broomfield’s very busy mini-arena the .
Rod y Gab will play the 1stBank Center on April 10 – with backing band C.U.B.A. intact. The band helped them reimagine and rearrange some of their catalog for “Area 52.” The press materials call the release a “hybrid of metal, Latin and jazz,” which could also describe the band’s pre-C.U.B.A. output.
