Investigators on the Western Slope are seeking the public’s help in arresting thieves who are targeting four-wheel, all-terrain vehicles.
The sheriff’s office is in possession of two 1996 Polaris Sportsman 500s they believe were stolen, according to Crime Stoppers of Garfield County.
Investigators believe the ATVs were stolen in December and they’re hoping to find the owner, or owners, of the vehicles. The sheriff’s office also wants to talk with anyone who has information on an ATV that have been stolen in the county in the past 12 months.
