NEDERLAND —-Regulating fracking and banishing genetically modified organisms from county land are priorities for all three Democrats vying for the District 1 seat on the Board of County Commissioners.
At a forum at TEENS, Inc. Youth & Family Center in Nederland, the candidates agreed that Boulder County should take a stronger stance against exploratory drilling that uses hydraulic fracturing to free up oil and gas deposits by imposing a moratorium.
