Colorado’s mountain casinos saw a 2 percent drop in revenue in December compared with the same month a year earlier, according to data released by the state Division of Gaming.

Casinos in Black Hawk, Central City and Cripple Creek reported adjusted gross proceeds — which is total bets minus payouts — of $56.4 million, down from $57.6 million in December 2010.

Central City, the state’s smallest gambling destination in terms of revenue, posted a slight uptick in business in December with $5.3 million, up from $5.1 million. Black Hawk casinos reported proceeds of $42.3 million in December, down from $43.2 million. Cripple Creek had $8.8 million, down from $9.3 million.
