LONGMONT — Boulder County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a Denver man on suspicion of burglarizing a deputy’s Superior home in December and stealing handguns, badges and computer equipment.
One of the guns and many of the other missing items were recovered at the man’s home, the sheriff’s office said. Nicholas McKibben, 24, of Denver is being held in the Boulder County Jail on suspicion of burglary and theft, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
McKibben is an acquaintance of the deputy and had been in his home before the heist, the Sheriff’s Office said.
