Broomfield police are looking for the driver of a semi-trailer truck suspected of hitting a 16-year-old girl in a crosswalk last night.
Around 6:33 p.m., the girl was crossing Lowell Boulevard at East Midway when she was hit in the southbound lanes by a semi-truck turning southbound onto Lowell Boulevard, according to a news release from the Broomfield Police Department.
She was hit by the rear wheels of the trailer. Her name and condition have not been released.
The trailer was light yellow or white.
Police would like to talk with the driver of the truck or any witnesses who may have seen the accident.
