DENVER—A fast-moving storm is bringing some more snow to Colorado.

Copper Mountain said Friday it got 9 inches of new snow while Crested Butte, Loveland and Silverton resorts reported 8 inches of snow.

The Colorado Avalanche Information Center says the avalanche danger is high in many parts of Colorado’s mountains and warns that some slides will be large and destructive.

Denver is expected to get less than an inch.
