THORNTON, Colo.—Two children are safe after a woman walked away from her van at a gas station and walked miles, saying she had no memory of what happened.
Thornton police say 25-year-old Sarah Hatfield did not claim that she had been abducted or was the victim of any crime after the children were found on Saturday while store managers were preparing to have the vehicle towed.
According to KMGH-TV ( ), the woman was found outside a Denver hospital more than nine hours later.
The woman is facing charges of child abuse and she was released from Adams County Jail.
