DENVER—Remember those great ideas you had for an invention that could make money and put you on east street?
It might be time to pull them out of the closet and dust them off.
Patent lawyers, politicians and scientists are pushing for a U.S. patent bureau in Colorado. Also in the running are New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, California and Washington.
According to the Denver Post ( ), there are plenty of scientists and researchers across the state to justify a branch office.
A decision by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is expected later this year.
