ERIE — The driver of a Nissan sedan was killed Tuesday afternoon when her car crossed the center line of Colorado 52, clipped a semi and collided with two other vehicles.

Nate Reid of the Colorado State Patrol said the tan Nissan was westbound between County Line Road and 115th Street when it glanced off an oncoming semi and then struck an eastbound white pickup. That collision turned the car sideways, and it then was struck by an eastbound red Dodge pickup. The woman driving the Nissan died at the scene of the crash, which happened at about 4 p.m. The man driving the Dodge was taken to Longmont United Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The other two drivers were not hurt.
