Alberta Ferretti, an Italian designer who’s known for her feminine dresses and sportswear, is the latest international name to create an exclusive collection for Macy’s Impulse department. The limited-edition line will be in stores starting April 17 and will include soft voile dresses in a variety of lengths, summer-weight pants, peasant-style blouses and knitwear. Macy’s says the line includes a color range of oranges, pinks and teals offsetting muted whites and tans. Prices will range on average from $49 to $119. “The collection is full of surprises with fabulous crochet and lacy knits, sensuous draped dresses and whimsical prints that translate into a color palette evoking the sky and the sea of the coast of Amalfi,” Nicole Fischelis, Macy’s group vice president and fashion director, said in a statement.
