The Colorado Department of Transportation briefly closed a section of Interstate 25 at 84th Avenue to clear some icicles before any could fall on passing motorists.
CDOT officials said the closure took about 15 minutes while the potentially dangerous icicles hanging from the 84th Avenue Bridge over I-25 are removed.
CDOT will continue to monitor the icicles on bridges throughout the storm.
