The candidates for the Republican presidential bid scheduled a series of events in Colorado in the run-up to Tuesday’s GOP caucus.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney will speak at 2:45 p.m. today at Springs Fabrication in Colorado Springs, before heading to Nevada for its caucus night. Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, who was in suburban Denver and Colorado Springs earlier this week, returns for three stops. This morning he will speak at the Holiday Inn Express in Montrose. He will then hold a 4:30 p.m. rally at the Larimer County Fairgrounds in Loveland before speaking at the Weld County Republican Party Lincoln Day dinner in Greeley.

A spokesman for Newt Gingrich also said Friday the former House speaker will be in Colorado on Monday, though details have not been released. Later Friday, however, the campaign said things were uncertain and Gingrich might not make the trip.
