We first heard last fall when he was on the road with Mile Marker alums . Like WOD, Tanton makes dreamy, ambient psych-rock that’s rooted in Americana. His album “Free Clouds” was on heavy rotation for a few of us — though the live versions of the songs he and the band laid down at Uneven Studio venture far from the recorded versions. “Gauze Of Song” is a particular highlight — you can easily imagine it soundtracking a John Hughes movie. Stream and download the whole session at your leisure.
