The Lakewood Arts Council hosts its annual sale of art supplies, collectibles and original artworks through Feb. 29. The Intermountain Humane Society believes “nobody should be without a sweetheart on Valentine’s Day.” So the agency has discounted adoption fees for mature cats, starting Tuesday and going through Feb. 14. The fee for cats 3 years and older is $35, and $20 for cats 6 years and older (that’s half off).
