DURANGO, Colo.—The La Plata County Republican Party chairwoman says she expects a strong turnout at the party’s caucuses.
County Chairwoman Velbeth Jones told the Durango Herald on Monday ( ) she bases her prediction on the number of phone calls the party has received in recent days.
La Plata County Republicans are meeting in 30 precincts on Tuesday.
The county includes the resort town of Durango.
