Denver police are investigating a shooting, after a man walked into a hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest around 7:22 p.m. Tuesday, said Sonny Jackson, the police spokesman.
The man’s name has not been released. His injuries are not life threatening.
The man told police the shooting happened in the 2700 block of Eliot Street, but when officers went to the scene they found no evidence of a shooting. They are working to determine where the man was shot. The victim is no longer cooperating with police.
