GRANBY, Colo.—Construction problems have been found at a new Granby hospital after problems were found in schools built by a Fort Collins construction company.

Neenan Co. was ordered last month to correct a problem with two overstressed columns at Middle Park Medical Center. According to the Denver Post ( ) the hospital was allowed to remain open as long as heavy snow was removed from the roof until the problems could be fixed.

A board that oversees the construction of 15 schools being built in eight districts across Colorado says engineers found structural issues in every Neenan Co. school project that has received state grants to make school buildings safer.

Company officials have said they welcome the expanded reviews.
