BOULDER – — Downtown Boulder’s outdoor retail offerings are growing, and they’re doing so with flagship stores from two brands well known to the community.
Japan-based MontBell is moving its North America flagship store back to Pearl Street, and Boulder-based GoLite plans to open a flagship retail location of its own on the Pearl Street Mall, officials for both companies confirmed Monday.
“I think there’s just a lot of momentum down here for outdoor retail,” Sean Maher, executive director of Downtown Boulder Inc., said, mentioning existing retailers such as Patagonia and Wenger.
