The University of Colorado women’s golf team shot a final-round 304 to finish seventh at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge, six strokes ahead of the eighth-place University of Denver.

The Buffs finished the three-round tournament held at the Palos Verdes (Calif.) Golf Club with a 50-over-par 902, while the Pioneers completed the competition with a third-round 300, finishing at 908.

Top-ranked UCLA won the event by 12 strokes with an 18-over 870 total.

Emily Talley was the top finisher for Colorado, tying for 10th place by finishing with an 8-over 221. The 10th-place finish is her second of the season and 17th of her career, six more than any other golfer in Buffs history. It’s also her second straight top-20 finish and 26th of her career.

Kelly Drack led the Pioneers, finishing at 10-over and tying for 19th place at 223.
