FORT COLLINS — — Larimer County is investing $59,000 in economic development measures designed to grow small businesses and jobs.
County Commissioners Lew Gaiter and Tom Donnelly on Tuesday approved a four-program plan for economic development.
The third commissioner, Steve Johnson, favored only one piece — $5,000 toward the Feb. 22 Workforce Summit in Loveland.
All four pieces are designed to help small businesses and entrepreneurs, which will in turn help communities in Larimer County and residents looking for work, said Joni Friedman, director of the Larimer County Workforce Center.
