Dubstep fans are hardly at a loss of options these days, and the newly announced Levitate Festival is adding fuel to the already-massive party fire.
Levitate will feature British heavyweight alongside tastemaking glitch-hopper and supporting acts and at the in late-April, promoter AEG Live announced this afternoon.
The big show takes over the suburban arena on April 20. Tickets, $35-$42.50, go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. via tickethorse.com. It’s curated by Elm & Oak, a Colorado-rooted creative firm and record label – and the home to Boulder act Paper Diamond.
This year’s festival is a continuation of last year’s event at the Boulder Theater. The 2012 bill, which includes DJ/producer Rusko – also playing the similarly minded Snow Ball in early-March – shows a big step up in every way.
