LONGMONT —
An email was sent to parents of Longmont High School students today from Boulder County Public Health officials to alert them that a student at the school has been diagnosed with pertussis, also known as whooping cough.
The letter says the illness is not related to the recent tuberculosis case and does not put students at increased risk for developing tuberculosis infection.
