WESTMINSTER, Colo.—Authorities say a man suffered life-threatening injuries after he was dragged by a pickup in the Denver suburb of Westminster.
The incident occurred early Saturday.
The victim is 20 years old and was identified only by his last name, Sweany.
A witness told police that Sweany had struck the side of the pickup with his hand when it nearly hit him while he was standing in a road. The pickup returned and someone inside asked who had hit the vehicle.
Police say Sweany approached the driver’s side of the pickup and was dragged when the driver pulled away.
Authorities say they’re searching for the driver but have little information to go on.
