Update 7/30/12: Rusko and Boombox have been added as replacement support for the Red Rocks date

will no longer perform at on Aug. 7, a bill the band was co-headlining with French electronic dance act , Reverb has learned. The band also will not play the FMQB Triple A Conference in Boulder the following night.

Update: The Larimer Lounge just confirmed that the band will not DJ the afterparty set at the warehouse district rock club on Aug. 7.

Ticketholders for the Red Rocks show received an email from Ticketmaster Wednesday morning that notified them of the change in lineup. “The event must go on,” the email notes, saying that Justice will still play the show.

Earlier this month, Passion Pit canceled six tour dates that lead up to the big Red Rocks show, with singer Michael Angelakos saying, “In order for me to ensure that there will be no further disruptions, I am going to take the time to work on improving my mental health.”

That same note, from July 16, still remains on the band’s website – and an updated tour page shows the appearances at Red Rocks on the 7th and the Fox Theatre in Boulder on the 8th as canceled.
