Boulder police say a woman used the ill-gotten gain of a stolen purse and credit card to buy booze, and her taste for the hard stuff could prove to be her undoing.
Police released surveillance photos this afternoon from North Boulder Liquors.
The woman used a credit card stolen from the Walrus Saloon downtown on Jan. 16, after she allegedly tried to befriend a group while they played pool at the bar.
She told them her name was Susan.
When she prepared to leave, a woman’s purse and Susan were gone, police said today.
The suspect or others also attempted to use the cards at other businesses, but the transactions failed, police said.
