LONGMONT — A webcam that was installed to peer into an osprey nest at the Boulder County Fairgrounds is now live-streaming to the Parks and Open Space Department’s website.

Anyone can view the nest — though the nesting ospreys have yet to return to the area from their winter migration — at . They typically are back by mid-March.

Open-space staffers installed the solar-powered webcam earlier this year. They chose the osprey nest at the fairgrounds because those birds seem to be relatively unbothered by noise and people.
