A man has been arrested in connection with a brutal assault that happened on Monday in east Denver.
The victim, a 56-year-old man whose name has not been released, remains in critical condition.
Police responded to a home at 1331 Niagara St. on a report of an assault and found the man in critical condition. No other details have been released.
Denver police identified and arrested a suspect, Leonid A. Rabinkov, 34, on Thursday. According to Colorado court records, Rabinkov is serving probation for a previous assault case from August 2010. The Denver Post
