After a super-profitable, if critically underwhelming, summer last year, is already boasting an epic schedule for summer 2012. And it’s barely March.
And now this news: Blues genius and next-gen rockers will play at the foothills amphitheater together this summer, making for a legendary summertime blues bill on the Rocks.
King and the TTB (fronted by the husband-wife team of Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi) will play Red Rocks on Aug. 30, promoter AEG Live reported this afternoon.
Tickets, $39.75-$85, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via Ticketmaster.
