COLORADO SPRINGS — When medics found an 86-year-old woman on the floor of her home Jan. 24 covered in feces and lying beneath soiled sheets, she told them she had been there for a week.
No, her 50-year-old son, Dennis Foust, corrected her, she had been there for “only five days,” according to court records released Tuesday.
Foust was arrested Monday on suspicion of crimes against an at-risk adult. He was later released on a $15,000 bond. The arrest warrant description of Foust’s actions and neighbors’ depiction of him as a “loving and caring son” are seemingly of two very different men.
