BOULDER – — The operators of The Sink have partnered with a local craft brewer — who developed beers for the RedFish, LeftHand and Oskar Blues — on a new brewpub and restaurant in downtown Boulder.

The restaurateurs plan to open West Flanders Brewing Co. at 1125 Pearl St., a two-story building now occupied by BJ’s Restaurant & Brewery, which is expected to open a new restaurant at Twenty Ninth Street later this year, said Mark Heinritz, a co-owner of The Sink and West Flanders.

Other partners in the venture include Henritz’s brother, Chris; Barry Wolfman, The Sink’s general manager; and Brian Lutz, a brewer who has worked at the RedFish New Orleans Brewhouse, LeftHand Brewing Co. and Oskar Blues Brewery.
