DENVER—A Denver District Court judge has sentenced a man to eight years in prison for his role in setting a 14-year-old boy on fire with lighter fluid at a party.
The Denver district attorney charged 21-year-old Erick Perez with second-degree assault and unlawful sexual contact in the attack on the unidentified youth last year.
According to KMGH-TV ( ), Perez was the last of six young men sentenced in the attack. The boy was treated for serious burns to his hands, chest, neck and face.
