CORTEZ, Colo.—A Cortez man who admitted killing and dismembering his father has been found dead.
The coroner has ruled that 24-year-old Jeremiah Berry committed suicide on Friday.
According to the Cortez Journal (), Berry admitted to shooting his father, 42-year-old Jack Berry, in 2008 and dismembering his body. He was recently released from prison after serving a three-year sentence.
