A pedestrian was killed by a train Fort Collins this afternoon.
No information about the victim has been released. The incident happened at about 3:45 p.m. a southbound train hit the pedestrian who was walking along Mason Street between Mulberry and Magnolia streets, Fort Collins police said.
A witness called police.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident and streets in the area are expected to be closed for several hours.
