AIR FORCE ACADEMY — The funeral for Air Force Captain Ryan Preston Hall, who was killed Feb. 18 in an airplane crash while serving on the Horn of Africa, is being held Monday morning at the Air Force Academy. Flags at state buildings are lowered in his honor.

Hall was serving in support of the war in Afghanistan and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Hall was born and raised in Colorado Springs and graduated from Pine Creek High School in 2000.
