GOLDEN, Colo.—A 31-year-old Lakewood man living with parents who ran a day care facility has been sentenced to two years in community corrections and 20 years to life probation for sexually assaulting at least 10 children.
Cody Charlton had pleaded guilty to sexual assault of a child by a person in a position of trust, sexual exploitation of a child and unlawful sexual contact. He was sentenced last week.
Prosecutors said Charlton took explicit photos of children at the day care center and inappropriately touched them.
Investigators found sexually graphic videos and pictures during a search at the day care center.
