CANON CITY – — The Fremont County Commissioners on Tuesday tabled their decision on the temporary use permit for Over the River until March 27.
“We were hoping most sincerely that we would have a decision today,” Commissioner Debbie Bell said.
The board is still working on finalizing conditions that would want to apply to the permit if they approve it.
The board met with OTR representatives March 6 to discuss the language for the conditions.
“We’re not really negotiating,” Commissioner Mike Stiehl said. “Ultimately, we’re drafting conditions that hopefully will address the concerns of the county.”
