A plane made an emergency landing today at Denver International Airport after there was a report of smoke in the aircraft.

DIA officials say the SkyWest flight took off from DIA then returned at about 12:02 p.m. They say not one of the 52 people on board was injured when the plane was evacuated. The passengers were bused back to the concourse.

SkyWest released the following statement:

“SkyWest Airlines flight 6281, operating as United Express, returned to Denver due to a smoke indication in the cabin. The flight landed without incident and was met by airport response vehicles. All 49 customers and 3 crewmembers deplaned safely.”
