SUBARU FORESTER SUVs
Details: Subaru has recalled more than 275,000 Forester SUVs after a seatbelt problem was discovered by federal safety regulators during routine testing. The recall involves certain Foresters from the 2009 to 2012 model years, according to federal safety regulators.
Why: A rear seat belt may not hold a child seat securely in place. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says that the rear center belt doesn’t meet federal safety standards. The agency says Forester owners might not be able to install child seats properly, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
