BOULDER, Colo.—A Boulder women’s health clinic will begin offering health care for transgender patients.

Services at the Boulder Valley Women’s Health clinic will include hormone therapy as well as general reproductive health care.

Director Susan Levy says working with transgender patients is a natural fit for the organization. The nonprofit clinic says it already makes it a priority to serve patients that face barriers when trying to access health care.

According to the Boulder Daily Camera ( ), transgender patients currently have to travel long distances or find a local doctor willing to treat them.
